FAQ for real estate agents

Will this get me kicked out of Facebook groups?

No, if used reasonably. Grovo paces posts naturally (default 45 seconds between groups), uses your own browser session, and the AI variations mean every group sees a unique version of your post. We strongly recommend you only post to groups where you're an established member and the group rules allow real estate listings.

Does Grovo post under my name or its own?

Always under your own Facebook account. Grovo runs in your browser and uses your existing logged-in session. There's no Grovo branding on your posts. Your buyers see your name, your photo, your contact info.

Is this NAR or broker compliant?

Grovo is a posting tool, not a broker. Compliance with NAR Code of Ethics, your state's MLS rules, and your broker's social media policy is your responsibility, the same as any post you write yourself. We strongly suggest disclosing you are a licensed agent in every post (which you should anyway). Always check group rules before posting listings.

What if a group bans me anyway?

Group bans are usually a per-group decision by an admin who doesn't allow listings. Grovo can't override group rules. Your other group memberships are unaffected. Use the lists feature to organize groups by friendliness so you can quickly remove ones that bounce your posts.

Can I post photos and contact info?

Yes. Attach images to your post (up to 10 per post), include your phone, email, and website. Everything posts exactly as you set it up.

How is this different from Hootsuite or Buffer?

Hootsuite, Buffer, and Sprout post to Facebook Pages and your personal timeline. They cannot post into Facebook groups, which is a different API surface and largely unsupported by the big platforms. Grovo is purpose-built for groups and works at 1/10 the price of those tools.
